3 Inspirational Texts - Music Videos

I have researched some songs and artists that will appeal to my target audience as the band I have chosen, Boyce Avenue, aren't really a niche band as they aren't really mainstream, however in my music magazine I want emerging artists/bands as it will allow audiences to learn about different artists/bands, they have never heard of before. This point will be my unique selling point as there isn't really a magazine that showcases these types of artists/bands in this genre in music.



Another artist I have chosen who would fit into my music magazine is Rita Ora, for all she is in the main stream music charts, she is also an emerging artist who came to fame without the need of talent shows like XFactor. She will also fit in with my target audience as many females might aspire to be like her because of her style, lyrics and achievements.



Jessie J is another artist who has also found her fame in the main stream charts but just like Rita Ora she has done it without the aid of auditioning for a talent show, she did it with hard work, determination and never giving up when things went against her. Females will aspire to be like her because of her songs, lyrics and her background.



Ed Sheeran is another artist who would fit into my magazine as he is a young, male singer who got to where he is today without going on talent shows but for being an excellent singer, for doing unpaid gigs because he had determination to make his dreams reality and for being a nice, friendly person. Many girls will aspire to be like him because of his controversial songs that hold deep and dark stories of real life people and their battles with life, that they may want to portray in their lyrics and characteristics.
